The exhibition “Reorientations. Unveiling the Collection of Contemporary Art” inaugurates a series of contemporary art from the collections of the Koszalin Museum, planned for the coming years. Its primary goal is to show the richness of forms of expression and the multidimensionality of artistic issues of the second half of the 20th century – this time from a new, contemporary perspective.
The core of the exhibition is made up of works from the so-called Osieka collection – a unique set of works associated with the international meetings of artists, scientists and art theorists held in Osieki in 1963-1981. They will be accompanied by unique archival materials documenting this important artistic phenomenon, as well as selected works from the collection of the Department of Contemporary Art, many of which have not yet been presented to the public. We will have the opportunity to see works by, among others, Elżbieta Kalinowska, Włodzimiera Kolk, Irena Kozera, Natalia Lach-Lachowicz, Maria Ewa Łunkiewicz-Rogoyska, Maria Pinińska-Bereś, Ludmiła Popiel, Erna Rosenstein, Henryk Berlewi, Jerzy Fedorowicz, Alfred Lenica, Zdzisław Pacholski, Józef Robakowski, Henryk Stażewski, Ryszard Winiarski.
